Easter cracked
On Tuesday and Wednesday of the last week of term, year 5 children had the opportunity to attend the Loughton Baptist church for an Easter experience.
They built on their knowledge of the Easter story through interactive games, videos and members of the church. The children were able to ask searching questions, to understand more fully, the story surrounding the death of Jesus. They were able to make palm crosses, learn about the Eucharist and enjoy the calming environment. As they left, they received the gift of a chocolate egg and a booklet that explores the significance of Jesus. The children were exceptionally well behaved, engaged and respectful throughout.
