Circus skills workshop

On Thursday 6th June Year 3 were given the opportunity to learn a variety of circus skills.  From the moment the children were shown how to twirl a tooth brush around a stick they were hooked.  Our visitor showed the children a wide range of different skills including stilt walking, diablos, plate spinning, baton twirling and tight rope walking to name just a few.

The children were able to have a go at all the various skills and proved that they were very skilful and co-ordinated.  The children had a lot of fun learning the activities and during the final session of the day were able to showcase their new found talents to the rest of the year group.

A fun and successful activity day enjoyed by the children and the staff who also discovered some hidden talents!
