Easter Cracked!

The children went to Easter Cracked!

On Tuesday and Thursday this week, the year 5 children visited the Loughton Baptist Church for their Easter Cracked trip. As well as visiting a religious place of worship, the children were able to take part in learning all about the Easter story, understanding the importance of this time of year for Christians, completed some crafts and even received some juice and biscuits!

The activities were led by The Bridgebuilder Trust MK whom the children are familiar with thanks to their regular assemblies held at Loughton School. The children had a fantastic time recapping everything that makes up the Easter story and the events that led up to the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Everyone was impeccably behaved and took a lot away from this experience. Be sure to ask your children all about their trip and how it has furthered their prior knowledge ready for their Easter learning next week in RE!
