British Values enrichment
On Tuesday 14th November, children across the school had the opportunity to take part in a live webinar to learn about the 4 fundamental British Values (Democracy, Rule of Law, Respect and Tolerance, and Individual Liberty) through Picture News; a resource we subscribe to, to learn about current affairs.
On asking the children at the beginning of the session, most had heard of the term British Values but were unable to name then. However, upon discussion throughout the session, it soon become apparent that we, as a school, value our community and celebrate diversity in a variety of ways. The children even went on to say how we could further promote the British Values and people’s understanding of them.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with such forward thinking children.
