One child from each class across the school had the opportunity to work with Miss Hawkes on an RE enrichment session. The session was based around retrieval and shared experiences. The children were introduced to the four religions currently taught about at Loughton School, they were given the task to match up the sacred texts, symbols and religious festivals to the correct religion. The children were absolutely fantastic at this and showed great enthusiasm and awareness of these religions. Once the children completed this task, they were able to share their own personal experiences of religious festivals. The non religious children were encouraged to share a tradition that they celebrate with their families. Well done to those who took part!
