We had a record number of children send in their poems to be published in the book Wonderverse last autumn. This week, some of the 113 children whose poems have been printed in the book received the copies which they had ordered and you can see some of their smiling faces in the picture above. These year 4 children were only a very small number but we are proud of all of the children whose poems were chosen. They were encouraged to explore their creativity during our National Poetry Day lessons in October and we are incredibly proud of those children who went home and completed their poems ready to submit to Young Writers to see if they could be published.

We have also been given two copies to keep in our school library so look out for them next time you are visiting.
