Welcome from the Chair of Governors
On behalf of the governing body, I would like to welcome you to Loughton School.
I joined the Loughton School governing board in December 2024. I have a daughter in Year 6 and a son who previously attended Loughton School and is now at Denbigh School.
Having previously served as Chair of Governors at a local first school, I discovered a passion for collaborating with school staff to enrich the lives of children. I am also the Vice-Chair of Governors at Denbigh School. I am delighted to be part of the governing body at Loughton School. My goal is to enhance each child’s school journey, creating lasting memories and positive experiences throughout their time at school. I aim to achieve this by fulfilling the strategic responsibilities of the Governor’s role.
I have a professional background in finance spanning over 20 years, primarily working for an international hotel chain. Outside of work, I manage my son’s rugby team and serve as treasurer for the local Scout group. I also enjoy traveling with my family, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures.
