Let's Leap
On Thursday morning this week, the whole year team had their fingers crossed for the weather and were relieved when the Let's Leap team arrived with three fantastic activities for our children to enjoy.
The children were split into three groups and rotated around the activities for the whole morning so that they had the opportunity to try different challenges, testing a range of skills. It was lovely for the teachers to be able to see the children in a different environment and see who found things challenging and who was more confident.
The inflatable obstacle course was a really popular and fun activity and it was great to see children pushing themselves outside their comfort zone to get to the end. Activity 2 was a team building challenge, where the children competed against each other in two teams to build a den out of poles, clips and tarpaulin covers. Activity 3 was the plank challenge where children used planks of wood to travel across a "river" to get to the other side.
All the teachers agreed that this was an incredibly worthwhile way of allowing the children to bond with their classes in a relaxed way and we were all relieved that the weather was on our side! Thank you to the Let's Leap team who allowed the children to have so much fun.
