For their half-term homework task, the children were asked to make either a Roman shield and sword or a Celtic shield and sword in preparation for our mock Roman battle which will be taking place next week. The children researched the different weapons and have produced some wonderful examples. Have a look above at the photos of some of their efforts.  We really do have numerous artistic and creative pupils in year 4. We cannot wait to see what they will look like lined up on the battlefield.
