As well as seeing all the children's amazing project homework (see separate blog post), the children have had a fun packed week. They have all visited Santa in his Winter Wonderland, which was a magical experience for everyone, including the staff. Seeing their faces light up and hearing their thoughtful questions really made us smile. Yesterday was our Enterprise Day. The children made the pizza dough fresh: weighing out ingredients, kneading and dividing up the dough equally, shaping their pizza bases and adding the toppings of their choice. 

During their art lesson, Mrs Radosavlevici helped the children with their designs so that they could decorate their pizza boxes ready to receive the baked, finished item. We are also very grateful to Jan and the Hobbs team for making time during their busy schedule to bake the pizzas. 

Thanks to the generosity of the parents, we were able to sell all the pizzas and as well as covering the costs of the ingredients we have a small amount left over to spend on treats for the children in the new year. Watch this space to find out what the children vote for!
