As many of your children have probably already told you, we have started our writing sessions based around the short animated film "The Blue Umbrella". From which the children have already produced some incredible sentences that include a range of adjectives, adverbs and feelings. Three children's sentences have been picked each session to be displayed on their class sentence stacking wall (pictures in a future blog post to follow).

In Geography we have been taking a look in to all things rainforest. We have been learning about the different layers of a tropical rainforest, what kinds of animals can be found there and even plotting where you would find different rainforests on world maps!
