The children took part in an assembly led by the Buckinghamshire Fire Service, where they learnt all about who to call in an emergency, what the firefighters duties are and what they should look out for in their own homes. 

As well as being able to ask the firefighters all sorts of questions, the children were able to time one of our very own (Mr Williams) putting on the protective gear! If that wasn't enough excitement, the children were then taken down to the playground to see a real, working fire engine. Here they were educated on what each part of the fire engine was and what its use was.

The children were fantastic and asked some interesting and thought-provoking questions. Please remember to regularly check your smoke detectors!
