On Tuesday, bestselling author J.J.Arcanjo visited Year 5 and 6 to tell them about his 'Crookhaven' book series! He gave a fantastic presentation on his ideas for the books, his own reading journey and future books in the series. Year 5 and 6 listened brilliantly and many rushed off to have their books signed afterwards! There was a real buzz in the air.

His visit really inspired the children and it was lovely to see them so enthralled. They listened beautifully to his reading of the first chapter and gave him a round of applause afterwards. It was so exciting to hear that the 'Crookhaven' series is being made into a TV programme in the next couple of years so keep a lookout! Here are some of the children's thoughts on Joel's visit:
