After becoming biome experts last week, our year 6s have been showing off their knowledge by turning their recent research into a class display.
Do you know what subject biomes come under? Do you know what biomes are? Do you know how many there are? Could you locate them on a world map?
These are just some of the questions the children have been asked in their geography lessons over the last couple of weeks.
Year 6 had a great time celebrating World Book Day!
On Friday 28th February, the year 6 children all arrived at school excited for a day of science. The day consisted of 4 different science activities.
Today, in year 6, the children have enjoyed a fun-packed session delivered by Zoolab. Claire spoke to all of the children about a range of different animals – which the children got to see, stroke and in some cases, hold. She discussed how each of these animals have adapted to survive in their current environment and how they have evolved over time, building on from what the children have learnt through our Evolution and Inheritance science topic.

Year six have an excellent understading of evacuation in World War Two.
JJ Arcanjo is a half-Portuguese, half-English writer who grew up between the Algarve and Devon. However, this week, he was in rainy Milton Keynes visiting year 5 and 6 to tell the children all about being an author.
This week, the whole of year 6, they had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a workshop where they learnt all about pneumatics.
