Children have had the opportunity to use their technological skills and knowledge of animals found in their class continent to create a short documentary all about their chosen animal. After learning about the features of a documentary, they had to research different facts and gather images relevant to their documentary topic. The children worked in groups to produce their documentary, which included narrating through a voice-over and using text to add further information. They thoroughly enjoyed the process and next week, we will be sharing the final piece with the rest of their class. Some of the children showed a real passion for this and may well be the next David Attenborough!
