Year 3 completed their science unit on ‘light and shadows’ by performing short plays using their very own shadow puppet theatres. The children had to use their scientific knowledge to choose the most appropriate materials for the theatre screen and the puppets and design and make these characters in order to perform a well-known play. In HB1, there was a re-enactment of 'Goldilocks', in HB2 there was a performance of 'Humpty Dumpty'. In HB3, there was a group who performed 'The Iron Man' and in HB4, one group decided to act out a scene from 'Alice in Wonderland'.

It was a wonderful way to end the half term!
