Our instructor, Sue, showed us how to work safely and encouraged teamwork whilst giving our children the opportunity to use a programming app called "Tynker" to make the drones take off, fly in different directions and land. There was plenty of maths involved using variables, percentages, position and direction and angles. We were extremely impressed by the children's listening skills - there was some extremely fast learning going on! Although some of the tasks were challenging, it was great fun, especially watching the drones doing flips forwards and backwards.
