Christmas cracked
On Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th December, Year 6 walked down to visit our local Loughton Baptist church. The visit started with a fun game where the children raced to collect an assigned piece of paper and followed by an exciting game of charades in which they needed to act out a Christmas movie or song.
During the afternoon, they also completed Christmas crafts, games with a Nutty Professor and stories set up by Bridgebuilder and were given a drink and a biscuit. The Christmas cracked afternoon was very festive and helped explain the true meaning of Christmas; to rejoice in the birth of Jesus Christ. The children completed some beautiful stained-glass silhouettes.
