Tower of London

This week Year 3 have been to visit the Tower of London!

The children were fascinated to see the crown jewels and to link all of the learning they have done so far in our history lessons on Kings and Queens. They had a crime and punishment workshop where they learnt about the Tower of London as a prison. Inside the white tower the children explored the exhibits of the amour belonging to different kings and enjoyed the interactive activities available. It was a beautifully sunny day and they were all so interested to spot all of the ravens and the statues that represent the time the tower was used as a zoo.

A great time was had by all! Make sure that you ask your child about what they saw!
