Biomes and red noses
This week, year 6 have been putting their practical and creative abilities to work while creating a fantastic biomes display.
Each class have their own display board, which has been dedicated to this artistic creativity, and they have had a great time working in groups to design their representation of various biomes. After having the time to research the different biomes, the children have learnt a lot of information that they now feel confident in sharing.
The children have also had the opportunity to celebrate Red Nose Day! The children were invited to dress up for a small donation of £1 on Friday 15th March. The bright colours flooded the corridors of Loughton School while raising money for a fantastic charity. The children also enjoyed a crazy celebration assembly with Miss Brago where one of the children in HB13 was crowned winner of the Red Nose competition judged by the school council. Well done to all those who entered. Well done also to HB16 and HB15 who raised the second and third most money for Comic Relief.
