As part of our ‘The World Around Us’ topic and linking to our research on deforestation and the impact it is having on our planet, year 5 are writing a biography about an iconic British Broadcaster, who has been making wildlife documentaries about the fragility of our planet for over 60 years – Sir David Attenborough. In order to learn a little more about this legend, year 5 watched part of one of his documentaries: ‘A Life on Our Planet’. The children very much enjoyed learning more about Sir David and the work that he has done over the years.
