We have notified parents several times this half term about the inconsiderate parking outside school during drop off and pick up times.
On Thursday afternoon our senior leadership team met with our local PCSO and four traffic wardens to discuss these traffic issues and, as they were leaving, we observed together the absolute chaos which unfolded.
This month we held our first tea party. As mentioned in our previous newsletter, this is for those children who consistently go above and beyond. We had a lovely afternoon with the children celebrating with them.
In our creative writing sessions on Tuesday lunchtimes, we have been reading excerpts from "Our Castle by the Sea" by Lucy Strange. The book tells the story of Pet, who is living in a lighthouse with her family at the start of the Second World War.
A very big thank you to everyone who attended our recent maths parents evening on addition.
