Summer Writing Celebration
Today was our opportunity to celebrate the fabulous writers we have here at Loughton School!
We are very proud of the progress our children have made this year. Today was a special assembly to remind the children of how hard they have worked this year. We hope you are able to find time during the parents' evening at the end of term to see the examples of work in our writing corridor. The following children were chosen by their teachers for a range of reasons, including progress across the year, inventiveness, creativity, use of punctuation, handwriting and spelling and using the correct features of a particular text. Well done to:
year 3 - Manvir, Alice, Ana, Elman
year 4 - Erin, Neve, Cruz, Harrison
year 5 - Emmy, Lizette, Isabella B-R, Agnes
year 6 - Eloise, Anwitha, Natasha, Elliott
We would like to also give a shout-out to all the year 6 children who have worked incredibly hard this year, making improvements to their handwriting, punctuation and spelling to enable them to achieve their potential. We wish them every success as they move up to secondary school.
