Whole School Science Day

Today, the children at Loughton School have engaged in a ‘whole school science day’ to celebrate everything that is science!
Each class in each year group have had the chance to carry our 4 different science experiments throughout the day. These activities have been very hands-on and the children have had to use the skills of prediction, observation, decision making, recording and evaluating their findings. The children have been totally engaged and have had great fun learning many new science concepts.
Please ask your children what they have learnt today and their favourite experiment was. Here is a table to show what is being covered throughout the school.
