We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to the Loughton family. We hope you will treasure your time with us.

At Loughton School, we strive to provide our children with the best education we can, ensuring every decision we make has their best interests at heart. We promote a strong family feel and teach our children to respect and value everyone. Our outstanding pastoral care makes sure all our children feel safe and happy at school.

Our vision is to develop our children into lifelong learners, who have an inquisitive mind and a thirst for knowledge. We believe that being physically active, leading a healthy lifestyle and having a positive mindset can lead to good mental health. We believe that teaching our children life skills such as independence, resilience and creative thinking is just as important, which is why they are firmly embedded in our immersive learning approach.

Our curriculum has been designed to make sure it is broad and balanced as well as building on, and making links to, the knowledge the children have already gained.  As teachers and leaders, we want our children to be inspired so they can achieve their full potential. We acknowledge that all children are individuals and it is because of this that we offer an inclusive environment and curriculum for all our children.

We firmly believe that for our children to get the best education they can, everyone needs to work together to support them. We look forward to building a good partnership with you as parents throughout their life at Loughton School.
